    Finally

After a year and some change of trying to convince my fiance about snakes, she finally let me buy one. Now I think her and my five year old are in love with them more then me.

Beautiful snakes! But she LET you? I told my wife when we got together that I was getting more Ball Pytnons no matter what, lol. But glad to hear that they love them now, they grow on those who don't like them at first.

Thanx...Lol yea it was I get the snake and she leave or don't get the snake. But in the long run I win, she use to run when she was in the same room as snakes. Now she handles them with ease.

Being a wife myself, I totally "saw" your wife's point once.... my husband wanted a pet snake... I flat out refused. I used to be one of those fearful "snakes will harm our children and they have no feelings" type of people. I mean really I personally was not afraid of them but I thought they were gross, just like spiders. After my husband's cat died, I felt super sorry for him and a couple years ago for father's day, I let my kids present him with a corn snake. 10" little cutie she was (now almost full grown)... but ever since then snakes have grown on me. Now it is me begging my husband for a snake (I already own 16 but want more).

By the way, you have a very good example of what a YB should look like! Very nice.

They are addicting once you get just one. I swore I only wanted one now it's a ton, I think it's impossible to stop there.

Reptile expos are a way better way to go. I mean, you could totally order online with a very reputable breeder and have absolutely no issues but it is always nice to handle one, check up on its health and see it in person (colors are different compared to pictures and seeing it in person). But that is totally your choice.

Very nice critters Karnage. Congrats on the beautiful new additions. That's great that she and the kids are on board. I've had to ask/bribe my SO every time I wanted a new snake. I'm up to four now with one on the way. She's a tough sell but I'm pretty charming.

Congrats and welcome to the addiction!

lol My boyfriend isn't crazy about the snakes but is supportive. I told him even if he did try to cut me off, he wouldn't be able to tell them apart to know if it's a new snake or not. They all look the same to him. He agreed.
