Anyone using paper substrate had this odd BP behavior before?

So my nearly 1200g male Spider has been drenching his tub every night by either soaking in his water bowl or dumping the water out. For the third morning in a row I've checked on him and found the paper completely saturated, most of his water bowl empty and for at least the second night in a row he has urinated too, the paper is also found pretty ripped up. He's in a rack, in a Vision CB 70 tub, and the temps are fine, he shed out last week so I don't think he's soaking because of shed related issues, and no sign of mites. Last defecation was on the 11th and seemed fine and he hasn't skipped a meal in a very long time if ever.
Is it possible this is just a thing he's going through right now or is something going on?
I do have 2 subadult females in the same rack above him each about 1000g's so is it possible this could be causing the sudden behavior change?
I'm just a little worried I think mostly because of the Urates two nights in a row seems awfully frequent.

That works if he's dumping the bowls. I have one that climbs in and displaces the water - he's about 1500 grams and does use a hide also. The problem has been alleviated - not fixed - by giving him two of the small melamine cat bowls from the dollar store for water and filling them only 1/3 full. Usually he only messes with one of them overnight, and there's not enough water in it to turn his tub into a sodden mess.

Thanks guys, I do have a few of the large croc style water dishes on order from Reptile Basics, I had to order a few things so I threw those on the order to give it a try. If that doesn't work I may go the other way and try the smaller dish idea. I just don't want to overlook something that may be going on with him perhaps medically.

Also, if he is soaking in the bowl he is going to be absorbing more of the water through the cloaca as well. That would shed some light on the added out put of urates and urine. Just find those pvc holders for your water bowl to help with this ?

Are your humidity levels correct ? My animals like to dry dump their water bowls if the humidity is not to their liking.

I used to have multiples dumping their waters every night, and it became a pain to clean up every day..

I switched to 4" pic couplers and then I put plastic deli cups inside. I haven't had a tipped water in literally months! I bought a 500 pack of the deli caps for about $25 and I'm still not 1/4 used yet. They can be washed but usually they are trashed.
