Have fun with the carpet group.

They are great display animals if you allow them to be.

Apologies, I've been out of town but this is a nice thread.

Perches allow the snake to preform a lot of behaviors that short tub style cages prohibit.

I really like your enclosure here, and your Boa's too.

That is a great pic of your Coastal.

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

I answered on the other thread you asked this question.

    Lizzy on the Monkey Bars

Hey Z/A, Congrats on your new one!

I just picked up a 1yr old Jungle as well.

For me, I just move with them partially while directing her where I want her to go.

That probably is not much of an answer, but that's what comes to mind at the moment.

Esmarelda just finished shedding seconds before.

Re: Lizzy on the Monkey Bars

Wow Reinz, that is one stunning jungle! We'll have to introduce her to my boy Shredder in a few years.

@ ZA- I say ditch the hook and just pick her up with your hands. You can use gloves if she's nippy. My coastal is pretty flighty when I first take him out too. He usually calms down after a few minutes. I think this is one of those practice makes perfect scenarios. As she acclimates, and the more you work with her , she should calm down.

Sorry Z/A, I forgot about the hook. I agree with Ziggy, ditch it, unless you need it just to get her OUT of the enclosure.

My 2 yr old male Coastal, Mack is very cage aggressive and that is what do. Either that, or he is constant feed mode!

Ziggy, if you lived close, that would be cool to hook them up!
