    What a day!

Well, this morning we woke up and the cats were running about with a young rabbit. We managed to snatch it and put it in a box. Surprisingly, he had no issue being held. I did a wellness check and he was uninjured so I left him to relax and returned an hour later. Totally fine. I drove to our nearby sanctuary and they said he's probably fine but they will do a once over one more time and release him (he's old enough to be on his own).

Well, when we were leaving for the sanctuary, the cats were chasing a snake. It found its way onto the front porch(and rested on my fiancée's foot) to which I calmly said, "Honey, snake..." and she squealed! (And they say I'M THE girl) we used her foot to redirect the snake, a Black Racer, to the garden where he took off. Well, he liked the house a bit too much. We came home and I saw a toad and I was distracted by it...my fiancée was trying to get my attention but it was too late...we opened the front door and there was the startled racer. He froze until my chihuahua, OBLIVIOUS TO THE SNAKE, stood over him and wagged at me. The snake ended up IN the couch! We tipped it forward, located him, and threw a dish towel on him. I grabbed where I'd last seen his head and the mid section and ran him outside to the pond where he found a nice bush to disappear into ^^ 😥 what a day!

    Wow, what a crazy morning!

    Glad the bun was alright.
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.
