If you're going to make display cages as opposed to steralite/rubbermaid housing, that's going to cost you a lot more, and take a lot more planning and effort.

Min Size recommended for an adult crested gecko is 24" h by 18" w by 18" long (in all the books I've seen). If you're going to put the crestie in a rubbermaid, you're going to want the lid on the rubbermaid. You really don't want to be pulling out a flush top (like the way the steralite ball python racks are designed).

Btw bpkid, I don't recommend you do this without the help of an adult. It's going to be easier to do with another pair of hands anyway.

I'd advise you build it in sections that can be moved as well. If you build it as one giantic piece of furniture, it's going to be near impossible to move in the future.

Make sure you get a really good drawing of diminsions and plans built up before you start, it will save you money and time in the long run. Also, this is going to be a pretty expensive project in the long run for all of those cages. I'd recommmend you try building one of the cages first, and then go on from there.

i can buy the tubs,the ones you talked about,and i will use heat tape or heatpads.there are outlets to plug the pads in.
