    Need background ideas

Hi. I will be getting a diamond python in a couple of months. He comes with a big vertical display enclosure. What should I do for a background? I originally wanted to do a planted tank but the plants wouldn't have enough humidity. Any ideas?

I made an earth and stone wall for mine out of polystyrene and Great Stuff expanding foam. It was fairly easy and I'm happy with the results! Put together this step-by-step a little while ago: http://imgur.com/a/vguGZ

Not sure why humidity is a problem for your planted tank idea, since there are a wide variety of plants out there adapted to all kinds of different climates. Don't diamonds like moderate humidity? Most common houseplants should tolerate that just fine.
