    Mine were produced by Casey Lazik. I know he works with several infernalis bloodlines and should have babies being born any day now, if they haven't already hit the ground.

    Very cool! Do they eat pinkies even when adult sized? And do they musk at all?

    Oh and just a question, don't mean to hijack your thread at all, but do you need a permit to keep this sp. or are they allowed as pets now? I read in an older thread they were endangered so I was just curious.

    They will graduate to larger, haired mice as they grow. These are flighty little wigglers but once in hand they settle down a good bit. Mine seem to prefer musking over biting but I don't like to mess with them much either way. These are one of those species that are just a joy to observe cruising around their enclosures, doing their thing - active little boogers that they are.

    I believe you're thinking of the San Francisco Garter, T.s. tetrataenia, which is endangered.
