    BP making whistleing noise

Hi guys my pastel YB BP is making a strange whistleing noise when I take her out but only when I take her out she doesn't do it in the cage. She is 745g her temps are 92 hot spot and 75-80 throughout the rest of the cage 50-60 humitity. She just shed 4 days ago and ate 2 days ago. Her nose isn't bubbleing like a typical RI and it doesn't look red either.

    Any options help thanks!

Do you see any other signs, such as:

Symptoms include listlessness, weight loss due to decreased appetite, swollen or bloated body, gaping, open mouth breathing, often with audible exhalations when in an advanced state. Wheezing may be heard, or clicking noises when breathing. Bubbly, stringy or sheeting mucous appears in the mouth. The head may be held in a raised position to facilitate breathing. In snakes, the tines of the forked tongue may be stuck together. Respiratory infections in snakes are especially dangerous in those snakes who have only one functioning lung (colubrids, etc.).

You should probably take your animal to the vet if you think it has an RI.

There could be a piece of stuck shed in her nostril that's causing the whistle. You picking her up is making her breathe heavier than normal, which could be why you're only hearing it then.

Thanks! Is there anything I should do to help it come out or will it come out on its own and is it dangerous to the snake?

Hmmm. How long has the whistling noise been going on for?

I just noticed it today. The last time I took her out was last week before she shed

It might be what Eric Alan said. I wouldn't worry too much if there are no other signs of RI.

Not dangerous - she'll take care of it herself if that is what it is.
