    Cleaning in a dishwasher

Would this be safe to do, both for my snakes and for the people on my house? Been thinking of making this thread for a while and my plan was to just do hot water, maybe pre-rinse the tubs like normal (small tubs right now) and water bowls and hides to get substrate or urine/poo off before putting them in the dishwasher.

If your dishwasher gets hot enough then yes. You also want to make sure whatever you put in there won't melt.

I run all of my water bowls and RBI hides through the dishwasher with no issues, other than it seems to get run twice a day every day!

    Re: Cleaning in a dishwasher

I do. Ours has an Anti-Bacterial cycle and I add steam and a heated dry when I do snake dishes. No issues thus far.
