    Pairing after shed

I had my pastel female with my bumble bee male for 4 days then when I seperated them she went straight into shed. Well just woke up to fresh paint this morning so can I put him straight back in ?

I've heard that putting the male in when the female is in shed works very well. I would have kept them together.

You don't need to be pairing them every few days, once or twice a month is plenty often.

A lot of females tend to be receptive during their shed cycle and right after. I've had good success with getting locks during this time. While it's not necessary to pair during back to back weeks (as stated, once a month is usually the norm), personally I probably wouldn't pass up the chance to put him with her again during a prime pairing time like this.
