Surprise eggs!
I suspected my lesser platinum girl (Cordelia) was gravid, but wasn't expecting eggs anytime soon - seeing as it's only April, plus I hadn't caught the ovulation or major "swelling." But I went to check on her tonight, and found her laying next to four little eggs! Oddly she wasn't coiled around them, and didn't even care when I reached in to touch them. Is that weird? Guess it's irrelevant now, but apparently she has no interest in incubating this clutch.
It's a good thing I keep all the basic supplies on hand, along with a Little Giant incubator. I've got it heating up now, so will transfer the eggs once everything seems stable... then I'll offer Cordelia a meal tonight, as she looks REALLY deflated. She was barely 1500g before the breeding, so perhaps that explains her lack of coiling. Anyway, this was a Mojave x Lesser pairing, so please send me those BEL vibes! I've only got four chances at it, and reaaaally want to get at least one Lucy.

Re: Surprise eggs!
When our girl had her first clutch she didn't coil around them. They were all over her cage. Congrats!
