black eyed lucy and his pink head

Hi, I recently acquired a black eyed lucy and i'm wondering if the pink pigmentation around his head, and the blue around the black of his eyes will lighten up and turn white as he grows? he's 10 months old, thanks

Both should fade as he grows and his skin gets thicker I think.

ETA: They did with my blue eyed lucy.
