I would think that it takes great patience and small hands!

I borrowed this pic from this site. As you can see, elastic is used as the hold down.

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

A lot of the times, you can find small hats that are meant to be key chains and such. With a bit of tweaking they can make a perfect snake hat! Though good luck finding any hat that fits a baby bp head... Also, check out BeardedDragon.co. They sell some hats and bandanas.

Instead of a strap around the snake, I've heard of people affixing the hats with a little peanut butter, I don't know if it's safe though, just what I've heard. I know i wouldn't enjoy peanut butter on my head though lol. I do have a tiny plastic 49ers hat I would like to get a picture of loki wearing, but he's pretty head shy

I've seen where there is a strap, but if it was tight enough to hold it on I would think that it would dig into the head skin. I don't know this is why I can't figure it out on my own.

I could be wrong, but I think she has an exceptionally patient snake. I believe she makes all her hats herself, out of a lightweight clay that you bake in the oven, and I'm pretty sure they are just set on top of the snake's head for the cute pictures. One great photo never tells the whole story about how many times it may have fallen off during the photo shoot.

Sorry, it's just wrong. And then people get up in arms about " feeding tanks". I know some people feel the keeper should be able to clean or bath a snake. Others say don't stress it out. I don't really get how anything good can come out of this. Teaching people, hey it's ok mess with their head. Sorry, but I'm stuck on old school for this one.
