Two weeks ago I built my own enclosure for my leo Sundae out of ABS plastic and acrylic cement for binding. I let the cement cure for two days and kept the cage open to ventilate. It also has holes in it to help and I use a fan to ventilate it too.

However the plastic smell has not gone anyway. It smells fine if the door is left open all day, but once I close it... the smell is back. I've tried washing it very well and it is still there strong as ever.

I had my leo in there for a few days hoping the smell would just go away (I have another ABS enclosure that doesn't have this problem) but it didn't seem to leave so I removed her and placed her in a temporary setup for the time being.

What is causing this plastic smell and how can I get rid of it? I am scared it will hurt her to leave her in there. My other ABS plastic enclosure does not smell like this and has no fumes at all and it is ventilated the same amount...
