One time long ago I was feeding my bp a small gerbil (live) and the gerbil just happen to run directly into her hide. While she was caught off guard and pinned the gerbil to the side of the hide until it was dead and then she found it's head and swallowed it. I had never seen that before.

My adult female gets lazy sometimes I think? But she wont strike, but instead use her body size and weight to pin the rat against the side until dead or sometimes pin then coil. Too much energy for her to strike I guess... lol
