hey, im sick of this whole live feeding thing. I'll explain why I have to feed live. Well, The only petshop around here, except for petsmart, only sells frozen pinky mice, and frozen rats. They only have live mice. So once my RTB was off pinkies, I was forced to feed live. I can't emotionally kill a mouse, because I have had like 25 pet mice, and I have a pet rat currently (I had a pet mouse, but my 'rents feed it to my snake while I was at a camp lol). So I cried every time I fed my RTB for 7 months, and when I got cupid I just got over it. But now with me getting the new snake in a few days that has been on f/t I want to atleast feed it prekilled if f/t isn't available. So, I know Mosi takes f/t (my RTB because he eats anything, lol) And I gave cupid 2 frozen fuzzies when they were out of live mice, so they eat f/t and im sure they would eat prekilled. So I need to figure out a way to prekill my snakes food. My mom wont, so I have to. What is the quickest, least emotional, non veiwing, no blood, way to kill them? How hard should I hit it? Please tell me!? I want to know the fastest, easiest, and least guilty way to do it.

I need feeding advice!
moved to the feeders forum.
Check out the sticky at the top of the forum about the gas chamber. It would be the quickest, non-blood viewing way to do it, IMO.

Compadres, it is imperative that we crush the freedom fighters before the start of the rainy season. And remember, a shiny new donkey for whomever brings me the head of Colonel Montoya.

Plastic shopping style bag (opaque) - on good solid non-tentative whack against a doorjamb (dont "go easy" or you'll have a stunned and twitching mouse which may turn you off of attempting at ALL) - dangle away.
I feel horrid doing it too - but ask yourself how horrid you would feel seeing amouse sink his teeth into the back of your BPs head or wind up looking like the one in the shots who'd been bitten all over.
Brutal, but hope it helps.

probably in case of blood ???
i dunno, but one time i whacked this mouse and some blood came out of its nose,it wasnt to bad, just a few drops, but a few drops of red blood on a nice white pillow case cant be very attractive.
