A simple question!

I have noticed a change in feeding responses. My adult snakes are drop feeding only. Im am not worried at all, as
long as my snakes are getting food then i am more than happy. I am just curious. so my question...Is it uncommon for Ball Python start drop feeding rather than strike feeling as adults in captivity and if so what is the reason for this??

acclimate to frozen thawed prey by reducing predatory behavior. They no longer strike at prey or constrict prey, since they realize the prey is already dead. Other snakes will continue to strike at and constrict frozen thawed prey. It depends on the animal. Nothing to worry about.
