    Hurt ball python

    Hi my ghost python has just been fed put him back in his viv and he managed to get himself stuck in a gap in the viv, thing is he squashed himself where the mouse is and hes shedding badly and took some skin off the underside of his belly and bleeding a bit. Has anyone ever had this and shoul he be ok or take him to a vet. Thanks

    For a simple scratch a bit of diluted betadine to clean it plus an application of Neosporin (without painkiller) should set him right. Since it's on his belly keep him on clean paper towels for substrate until he heals... and fix whatever caused the problem in the viv.
