lesser male or cinnamon female?
Pretty straight forward question. Should I get a male lesser or female cinnamon to start a breeding project?

What are the goals of your breeding project?
It is okay to use pine bedding for snakes.
It is okay to feed live food to snakes.

I want to create a lot of cool lesser morphs, like cinnamon lessers, lesser bees, etc. I really like lesser cinnamons so I figure I would get a cinnamon female now and get the lesser male next fall.

There are the few rules of thumb to follow that apply. Usually you get the female first since they take much longer to raise up to breeding size compared to the males, particularly since even breeding sized males of a single gene can be readily found pretty easily.
I would also put in my two cents that you should aim higher than just a lesser male. Lesser bees, lesser pastels, lesser calicos, etc. Will all give you beautiful and more valuable offspring (not that value should be your driving reasonings, but it doesn't hurt).

Females first, they take time to grow.
