    What to get next?

So I just got a peacock monitor and I'm building him/her a 3'x2'x5' tall while he is in a 6'x3'x3' long at the moment. I want a quince monitor (varanus melinus) to put I in the 6ft enclosure. I was also thinking about a colombian tegu or a mangrove monitor. I have supplies for both species just not the room haha. Let me know what you guys think i should get ☺

Don't rush into things, especially with large monitors. Make sure the one you have is set up nicely and is eating well for a month or two before you even think of shopping for a new one. (If you must, set up a new tank so that when the time comes you are 100% ready for a new lizard and just have to go get it.)

Research as much as you can about a specie before you get it, you should know all the basic husbandry needs onew the fly before getting it.

    Bearded dragon 2.0.0
    Crested gecko 0.0.1
    Leopard gecko 0.1.0
    Mountian horned dragon 0.0.1
    tiger salamander 0.0.1
    ball Python 0.0.1

I've been researching all three species i mentioned quite extensively over the passed few months because i couldn't really decide on one. I have the room to for only one but I'm in no rush to get another one. I planned on waiting about a month or 2 to make sure my new little guy was well established

You had said something about your experiences with columbian tegus? With consistent handling couldn't these guys become really well mannered?

Even though columbians stay a little smaller I still feel that a 6x3x3 is too small.
