Other rack building materials?

Just looking to see what other materials you guys have used or like for building a rack. I know XPVC and HDPE are good, just wondering what some other alternatives are

I have not used this for a rack but have for a few enclosures now.

I quite like it, very light and very strong. I have cut channels for heat cable in it in the past I see no reason that it would not work in a rack.

What is the price range for this material? And would you happen to have a picture of the enclosures you built from it?

I am in Canada but reasonable prices. A 4x8 sheet of 4mm is 98$ the 4mm is about the strength of ¼ ply maybe a ½ ply. It is crazy strong. Stupidly I don't have any picture of them I built them for a friend an as I work as a photographer I never shot any. It is embarrassing actually but takinging pictures is work and building the enclosures is more like play. Stupid I know I'll ask if he can shoot one or two.

Building a rack personally I would have two ¾ ply sides and used the multi wall as back top and shelves. Or I might only use the top and bottom as wood the rest multi wall. It is so thin edge fasting ca be a problem it bends easily if you cut through the face side.

I might have a camping box picture around. That is built the same way... I will look.

I have lookef into different materials but I haven't found anything better than what I have always used, plywood sealed with waterbased polyurethane.

Depending on who you ask, a lot of people may speak of rotting or warping etc. Hasn't happened to me.

Some local guys here just use 2x2 framed with a ~1/8" thin sanded sheathing layer.
