rescued four ball pythons in the last three days

I found someone with two ball pythons he could no longer care for, I gave him 50 for them with a tank I don't need.he told me he belive they are about a year old. The girl is a pastel at a sad 119 grams and a male normal at 190 grams. Both eat great, he was feeding them a mouse every ten days. The normal is getting rehired tomorrow and I am keeping the pastel.

Next I drove about 250 miles round trip but totally worth is for these guys, a roughly 1000 gram lesser male who is "hissy" he has been fine since we got him on the right temps, next is a roughly 800 gram mojave male his is agressive. He has snapped at my wife twice since we got him last night. We will work on him though. She is living in a barn now due to work cut backs she could not afford to feed them any more. Also she told me at night their Temps were dropping down to 70, no health issues so far though.

Congrats on your new additions! Look forward to more pictures.

As a side note, since when does purchasing and or receiving rehomed animals constitute "rescue"?

I would assume it has to do with removing them from less than desirable situations which would have been detrimental to the snakes health. 119 gram year old snake, and an owner who could not provide food/temps.

Beautiful looking lesser, and good for you for rescuing them. I bet if you start offering a rat pup every 5 to 7 days that Pastel will start packing on the weight fast. Those guys are going to be so happy to have proper husbandry too!
    Cheers, Jeff

That lesser is purdy! Are you going to keep the two boys, or were you planning to rehome them as well once you got them happy and healthy?

Thumbs up Re: rescued four ball pythons in the last three days

Great! The bps are lucky to have you. Think about mentioning the rescue part to your tax man as a possible deduction for next year! Keep all those receipts brother!
