What morph is this?
Here's what you do: buy a pastel that is pastel for sure. Breed them. If there are no super pastels, breed again. No supers? Then breed again. Keep breeding until you get a super/ the snakes retire and all the while you can give me the offspring deal?

So I was bored and actually read this whole thing and so the snake went from being sold as a pastel which it isn't to now its a fire??? I'm waiting for that hidden pied het in it to be exposed so it goes from a "cheap" snake to a several hundred dollar snake which we all know breeders love to lose money and knowingly will sell more expensive animals for the price of cheaper animals. I need to find this pet shop and see if they will sell me a clown as a "normal" since I really want a clown. The way I see it is unless it is an easily identified morph like a visual pied or bumblebee or something that cant be mistaken and it comes from a pet shop, always assume it is a normal unless they got it from a local breeder and can back it up. Otherwise, the pet shop could say this is a normal double het pied clown and charge you up the wazzo and it really is just some normal they got from a wholeseller but they just made 300% markup on it to some uneducated guy.
As for breeding it, I'm not a breeder but my response would be don't do it unless you want to be stuck with lots of normals or you can find somewhere to buy them cheap. Unless you prove it out to be something, no one in their right mind is going to buy a baby on the heresay of you saying it is a fire or pastel or YB or whatever, unless you get visuals or you can actually trace the lineage back to a well known breeder. My bet is the snake is just from a wholesaler. Nothing wrong with that mind you. My big BCI girl was from a mom and pop pet shop that takes very good care of their animals and I got her as a baby. She is now 6ft long and the sweetest snake in the world but she is not something I ever planned to breed. She is just my pet BCI that I love to death, nothing more, nothing less. Just enjoy your little BP for whatever she is as long as she is happy and healthy.

Not sure why people are saying that it isn't a fire or a vanilla? A pic of the top of the head would def be needed to rule those 2 morphs out. The body does look like both are possible.
Definitely is not a Firebelly, pastel or a Yellow Belly.

I've seen such nice Fires that if you look at them you might think they are hypos for a second. Just a suggestion on the quality you should look for if you are buying a single gene fire.
