    Good deal on this incubator?

Thinking about picking this up. VE-200 thermostat. Holds temps to +- 1/2 a degree.
    350$

It looks good to me. I just like the fun of building one myself. Does it have a fan for air circulation?

Yeah. One on top. I'd put a smaller one on bottom too just in case. If I had more time to diy it wouldn't be a question.

Depends on the price. You can get a fridge for free about anywhere. Heat tape is ~$2.50/ft plus your thermostat.

Glass front is nice as a bonus

It's hard to find old glass refrigerators like this. Couldn't find anything like it on Craigslist except the finished product. Figured just the reefer could go for around 100$ minimum and then add the thermostat, fan, lights and some free time spent not working on the incubator and making more "snake" money instead could be a great deal.

Find a local restaurant supply house and check there. They get broken ones in all the time and let them go cheap. If you see the local Coca-Cola distributor at a gas station, give them your contact info. They have broken ones all the time.

I chose to build my own for my size requirements. 72" x 36" x 20" with an acrylic front door.

I saw that thread. Pro looking diy!!! I'll probably go this route for now as I'll be crazy busy until next season welding and setting up our ranch. I'm gonna start building a min 600 Sq ft separate facility for my critters too. I've definitely got things cooking up in this brain of mine. I just gotta pick and choose what to buy and what to build. It's more of a test run for my more expensive clutches to be coming later in the year. A pre-clutch clutch if you will. Haha If I'm gonna have issues I'd rather it be with a clutch of naners as opposed to some pastel and firefly clowns or my whitewash stuff.

We built our own and I hooked up two led fans from Radio shack and bought the old fridge for $20 from a vendor. The thermostat cost around $200 and heat tape fans ect prob another $50 So, that sound like a good deal and less pain.

Looks great though. I wanna make one eventually that will still work as a cooler. Keep beverages nice and frosty until it's egg time. Haha
