    Final tank! Yay!

After a lot of research and being finicky and spending my hard earned money I think I am finally happy with my tank design and can introduce myself to the forums. I am Mike, and I adopted a full grown normal BP girl.

My overall 30 gallon tank, sliding doors with a lock (because I'm that paranoid) Heat lamp is on the stand.

I have two hides each side, one hide I made myself and coated in aquarium silicone so it doesn't rot.

I have a herpstat 2 which regulates my heat lamp (probe suctioned on side) and thg heat tape which is under the cave outside the terrarium (probe sandwiched between glass and heat tape). I have a temp gun to spot check internal temperatures. Along with a hygroset II (small black device below) to monitor temperature and humidity on the cool side. I have plexiglass on top to hold in humidity.

I have cypress mulch bedding. The tubing by the water dish is fresh humid air being delivered into the aquarium by my tropic aire, since I closed off most of the openings.

Any suggestions both functional and aesthetics would be appreciated, but I am happy so far!

Welcome to the forums! I hope you enjoy your new snake.

The tank looks awesome, I love the chest hide.

    Any chances of snake pictures?

Looks nice, sounds like you've got everything under control. Does the Tropicaire go into a stone into the water bowl? If so you may have the first BP with a Jacuzzi ever! LOL

Thanks everyone! Snake pictures to come!

As for the humidifier, almost a jacuzzi but not yet haha

Here is an image off the net how it works, the only thing in the actual terrarium is a tube with holes in them to release air. The stone bubbler is in the humidifier. Although I thought about how well a bubbler in the water dish would be good for humidity.... just a pain though I imagine tho...

Ah ok, very cool. I could use that on a future frog tank to help with the humidity issues.

It honestly only helps about 10-20% more humidity. I think it's more useful for helping humidity because you can block most openings and not worry about lack of fresh air.

With PDF's that 10 to 20% can make a big difference. I recently lost 2 of mine to, I suspect, the humidity being too low.
