    I know this is an older post but here is a less harmfull way to the snake to get him off windex is like getting "maced" but using listerine in a spray bottle has the same effect and will not harm the snake at all. I can only imagine what windex in the eye's felt like.

    yea, but windex was the only thing they had on hand.

    I know that but for future times and anyone else who handles its not a bad thing to have on hand even if you only own a BP the key to remember is if it has a mouth it can bite. I have used the listerine bottle once when my blood struck and held worked like a charm.

    Thanks for the tip. I will remember that. Honestly though, windex was the only thing we had. It was a slight emergency, didn't have time to look for listerine while I had an 8 foot burm hanging on me.
