Egg Incubation

I've found a lot of conflicting reviews, and I was wondering if you wouldn't mind posting a question. I'm looking for an egg incubator for my Ball Python. I'm not sure if I should go with zoo med, exoterra, reptipro, or another brand.
Would anyone recommend maternal incubation.

Both can be done successfully it's a matter of doing what works for YOU

I try to put all the chances on my side and therefore because I found that providing proper temps and humidity for multiple clutches is easier in an enclosed environment I chose to use an incubator, now if I had a clutch or two I might give maternal incubation a shot.

As far as commercially made incubator just like if you were making one yourself you need to get something you can grow into in the future.

Now with either remember that the most important piece of equipment is a RELIABLE thermostat.

Zoo Med reptibator very small expensive and I would not trust that T-Stat

Exo Terra & Repti Pro are VERY small as well you can't even fit a 6 quarts tubs and need to split one clutch in several deli cup, high price as well for the size.

When it comes to commercially made I would recommend Nature Spirit http://nsreptiles.com/incubators, Boamasters http://www.boamaster.com/index.php?r...&product_id=67 which can hold up to 18 clutches , and hot box http://cserpents.com/C_Serpents_Hot_Box/INCUBATORS.html

Pricey but will last a long time and will be more reliable than the others.

You can also get stated with very little a good herpstat termostat, a cooler and some heat tape that's how I got started before upgrading to a full size fridge.
