Help with small piece of shed on head

Been a couple of days since his shed. I've tried the last couple of days with a damp warm cloth to get the remaining shed of the top of his head. No success, as expected he wasn't for it. Need some help. I figured no need to soak his whole body when it's on the top of his head. Tried him directly, he still hasn't gotten it off. I'm trying not to have to hold him by his neck to do this but is there any other way???????? And I've been keeping the humidity up.
