Hey guys!! Does anybody breed Leo geckos? I have a pair of tangerine leos and the female is gravid. I would really like to hatch these ones and was wondering if the female can naturally hatch them if temp and humidity is right???? And also would the male eat the eggs or should I separate them???

I haven't bred leos but I assume that because the females in the wild maternally incubate their eggs they can also do it in captivity. As for the males eating the eggs I have no idea but better safe than sorry so I would recommend if you can to separate the male from the female. Also make sure to do your research online, do extensive research about breeding because breeding reptiles isn't like breeding dogs and cats where the environment doesn't need to be perfect.

Hey there I've kept and bred leos for over 6 yrs, maybe I can be of some help.
The eggs are much less likely to hatch if left in the enclosure, it's POSSIBLE but not as likely. The temps will fluctuate in the room and you'd have more success even if you took the eggs and put them in a seperate container in the enclosure. There are many ways to hatch them without an incubator if you don't have one. Best way I've found is in a container with a mix of vermiculite/perilite on a shelf in a warm closet or in a spare tank with a heat pad (all the while measuring the temps and humidity).
