Empty 20 gallon tank

I have an empty 20 gallon tank that I have no idea what to use it for :/ What type of reptile would you recommend for someone who lives in Pennsylvania. Also I am thinking on using it for a baby ball python. But I'm not sure.

A 20 gallon will be plenty for a baby ball for quite a while, so long as you clutter it up with hides and plants so it's not too open. That's what my young ball is in.

Yea I think your right. I will just use it on a baby ball python. What type of stuff would you recommend I put in if I am on a budget or $180. The baby ball python is gonna be $13 since I personally know the breeder and I already have the tank. Also for the bedding since its gonna be young do you recommend aspen bedding or paper towels?

I used eco earth in the expandable brick..Just add some water. I used heat a dual heat lamp on a timer with day/heat bulb and night/heat bulb. Had a hide on both sides and water dish as close to cool side as possible. I used some fake greens to clutter it up. He was very happy. Now I have built a rack and keep all mine in that.

The first three things you need to get are a good thermostat, an under-tank heater, and a plexiglass top to keep the heat and humidity in the tank. Next would be a thermometer and hygrometer.

Hides are cheap, go to the dollar store and use your imagination. Same for water bowls.

Fake plants are available at Michaels or other craft-type stores.
