    Is this normal?

Hi everyone I just got my red tail and I noticed today that areas of her seem like the scales are spread out is this normal? Also when I hold her it seems like she has a rough spot here and there. I know she wasn't taken care of properly and I dont want to follow that. Its the main reason I got her. Anyway I attached a pic or two she is in shed right now please help let me know what I should do. Thanks

Regardless of how it happened its no big deal. There's no way of knowing what caused it.

Just move on and be a proactive and educated owner, I'm sure she's happy she found a good home.

I just didnt know if she should feel rough in places. When im holding her. I have heard horror stories about scale rot and other things. Just want to care for her the best I can.
