Cute photo on my Red Knee

    Hello!

So this weekend at the Canadian Reptile Breeders Expo I purchased my very first T, a Mexican Red Knee. She is about 2" now, so she isn't huge, but not tiny either. Anyhow, I finally adjusted her setup to something that works for both her and I. Since I changed her setup and took this photo she has actually dug a back door to her hide and even spun a bit of web by the entrance! SO COOL!

Anyhow, when I was taking the photo I didn't notice anything, but after looking at it on my computer I notced her staring back at the camera. lol. I think shes smiling

Thanks. She actually did a little construction, which I personally find very amusing. My snakes don't really move anything around, so its fun watching her setup her home how she wants it. The night before last she dug out a back door to her hide, and then lastnight she moved a bunch of dirt to block off the front door!

Haha, Oh Yes. Their lives are composed of giving every task the utmost importance with an impossible deadline. Lmao

If she's blocking herself in that's sometimes a sign that they're going to molt. But since she's new to that tank she may just be rearranging and figuring out what she likes best. Just figured I'd give you a heads up so you don't get alarmed if you see her on her back!

Thanks! I can't wait to see her molt!! Do they usually molt under their hide, or out in the open?

Depends on the T. My guess is she'd do it out in the open
