Male BP size question...will Juju,s head grow?
My male BP is two years old and JUST started eating small F/T rats. He's 2 1/2 ft long right now....I heard male BP's max out at 3feet? Is that true!? I've also seen BP's with larger heads and his is the same size as when I got him two years ago....will his head grow? Random questions I know!

Not an expert but my male started in on small rats at 2 years and hit a growth spurt after that(he is 2 and half now) .. Now I am debating on feeding him larger or more often. His head did grow but males are smaller so dont expect a huge amount of growth.Mine is a bit under 3 ft.

How big are you expecting it to get? BP heads don't get huge......

I have a male bp that's over 1100 grams and about 3 and a half feet long he is a little over a year. My female which is about the same age is also three and a half feet and 1300 grams. both were monster eaters till recently. They just want mice now so their not growing as fast.

How often and what did you feed them?

Re: Male BP size question...will Juju,s head grow?
We have several males that are in the 1600 to 1800 gram range and all are pushing 4 ft. Every snake is different and while yours may max out at 3, I dont believe that is typical. Even at four feet the heads on ours are probably not much more than about 2.5 inches long if that. But that is plenty large enough to eat what they need.
