Abnormal ball python eye color??
A guy I know recently gave me a ball python (from what I know it's a normal, but I could be wrong). He was in shed when I first got him, but after he shed I noticed what an odd eye color he had. You might not be able to tell in the picture but it's a really pretty blue color with a little bit of gold in parts of his eye. It's not extra skin that got stuck or eye caps. It's shiny and clean looking and definitely his real eye color. And from what I've seen, don't normal bp's have black or dark brown eyes? So how come my snakes eyes arent? Why? Should I be concerned? Thanks!!

He probably had a stuck shed?

Looks like a pastel with typical pastel eyes, honestly.

BP looks more pastel than normal, but I need a better picture to be sure.

It's a (browned out) pastel, with perfectly normal eyes for that morph.
Really.
