    Help with ball python bendding

    i bought reptibark for my ball pyhton and some people say that you should freeze it for bake it to be on the safe side from mites. which is better freezing or baking and which ever is more better what do you bake it at and for frezzing you put in ur deefreezer ryt and how long do i leave it in there

    Reptibark should be safe right out of the bag, but then again I always use aspen

    I would just use it right out of the bag. Make sure there's no holes in it first and you should be set.

    Reptibark should be fine right out of the bag, but if you want to be on the safe side, I've read that freezing bedding for 48 hours will kill any bugs that might be living in it (don't forget to thaw it out afterward). That being said, snake mites cannot live without the presence of snakes so I'm not sure you really need to worry.
