    heat lamps or not.

    If my house has the humidity and the temperature in my bp cage do I still need the lamps on top and the heater on the bottom?

    Re: heat lamps or not.

    I would just run a UTH on a t-stat to provide belly heat at 90-92*F, and cover the top to keep in humidity. If your house ambient temp is high enough to provide the proper ambient in the enclosure, there's no need for a heat lamp.

    You definitely need the UTH, and make sure you have it hooked up to a thermostat. Get an infrared heat gun to spot check temps, and you are good to go
