I have never had to feed live before. If I get fuzzy mice to feed them (can't have live rats where I live. They are illegal in alberta canada) I assume they are so young they might still need their parents to live. Would that be the case or could ou care for them like a normal mouse? I was wondering that to know of I could get mice early at all or if I just have to buy them the day of feeding, also if it is possible to care for ones that don't eat. A BRB can take fuzzies their first meal right?

When they have their first shed do clutches tend to shed on the same day or does it vary for each neonate?

Most neonates can take a mouse hopper as the first meal, unless it's really tiny like one that didn't absorb all of its yolk.
For mine all shed out over the same 2-3 day period, after that they ended up on their own schedules. Unlike BP's these guys will usually eat while in shed though.

Ok that's kinda why I was asking. I wasn't sure if I had to wait until all were completely done their shed before I bought food. I was gonna do live. It was recommended to me plus the guy I am selling them to feeds live. I didn't wanna buy a bunch of mice and have them not get eaten if they were still in shed.

Fed them today. 100% ate.

After they start eating how long is it usually before their second shed?

Couple-three weeks. They grow quickly. They won't all shed at the same time though, my litter of 25 did over the course of 10 days.
