    Is this a black pastel or normal?

    Just wondering before i go and buy this bp. I cant determine if its a really dark normal or a black pastel. Just want to make sure before i drive for an hour lol

    On the forum for genetics and morphs the admin JLC has posted lots of good info on understanding the basics. To answer your question though a Black Pastel is a color and pattern mutation so you can look for a couple things off the bat. Instead of the normal pattern color fading towards the bottom their pattern tends to remain throughout the pattern. The lateral pattern is also pretty unique so you can spot it after looking at tons of pictures or in person. Once you can pick them out the next step is differentiating between them and a cinnamon.
