    Something to prove out....

Our Banana "Dinker" has given us some wild looking babies. This is a Normal from one of his clutches. Brings a Black Pastel/Granite look to them with some crazy blushing and clear white bellies. Going to hold back a few females and try to prove something out. One of the Pinstripes we just cut from his clutch looks like it has the same traits as this Normal "dinker". My son's 2 yo Normal may get some duty one day in a few years

Whoa looks like a black pastel banana to me! The sable gene is another consideration tho.

What do you mean the Pinstripe has some of the same characteristics? I love dark BP's like that actually. Would love to do some sort of experimental project with those colors one day. Very nice dinker and banana dinker

    Any Pics of the pinstripe?

That banana is very cool looking for sure. The baby there almost looks black pastel.

The more I look and compare that female to the dad the more I see the resemblance. You need a male with the same traits now.

Pinstripe is still in the egg along with my 2 Banana Pins. Much darker than the other 2 Pins and a bit crazy around the neck stripe. A few more days and I'll post clutch pics in my original breeding thread.

I understand another breeder has hit upon some similar looking babies and one happens to be a male. Possibly a joint project in the works

Crappy cell pic. It will only darken up from here. Lots of blushing on the head, dark stripes and some flames coming up from the belly. Surely different than my other 2 Pins in the egg.
