anyone experienced with the X-treme gene?

I was thinking this looks the most like what I had pop out last year. More pics and info here:

For this specific question, I was wondering about others opinons of if they thought these looked like x-treme gene.

I did contact Ken Macek, and he did not think it was the same, but I think they look the same Anyone else?

edit: looking a little closer, I was stuck on the stripe, and the side patterns are totally different, which is what he uses to pick out the x-treme gene (non supers). Still the stripes look so close to me.
