Having more than two hides ok?

So my baby bp was hiding under his water bowl, which I didn't really like. it wasn't dark enough and he was becoming very stressed out and not eating because of his clear hide. I I made three hides out of flower pots. the first two were small enough for his size. he didn't want to go in. I got a bigger pot and used that he loves that. is having three hides ok?

    Don't see why not.
They just use the one they want to at the time.

It is recommended to have at least two hides so that you can have one on the warm side and one on the cool side, so the snake doesn't have to choose between thermoregulating and feeling secure. More hides is perfectly fine.

Another thing that is recommended, for the same reason, is that both hides be exactly the same. Otherwise the snake might pick a favorite hide and always use it. If your snake continues to show a preference for the one hide, I might remove the other 2 and get a second one like the one he likes. Or 4 hides would be perfectly ok if there is room in the enclosure.

Yes must have been asleep on this, keep the one he's using and get more of the same.
    Not different sizes.

So I have noticed that he likes his bigger hide. In that case I will make one more like it and get rid of the smaller ones.

    Not a snug fit

Before I go and make another hide I must ask. Now mind you these bigger hides are not a snug fit. They have a little wiggle room. Just enough for him to turn around in and reposition him self. The smaller hides are a snug fit just for him. Should I make him another bigger hide?
