ive got indoor/outdoor carpet (like really really short low to the ground tight carpet and its green) and you buy 2 peices, and when he poos take one out and put the other one in and wash it. its as simple as that. You can see ym baby BP in my avatar and in "My baby BP Cupid" in the pivture forum but it might not be worded exactly like that. how big is yoru tank? how long is your snake?

So, how fun is it to clean that astroturf? Or do you just replace it everytime Rex dooks?
i just spray it with the hose, depending on the dirtyness of it.

Have you considered putting some background up? I know it stresses both my girls out a lot less when they have something covering at least 2 sides of their tank.
yea i did. im actually lookinh for some now

*edit* should i cover 3 sides or just the back?

rex322 .. its all up to you man. The back would be just fine, but if you want to all three would be good as well. I keep three sides of my rubbermaids covered at all times. I only use a dark colored blanket, but if i was using a tank an aquarium background is what i would use. I'd get one that is a bit on the dark side. Its kinda hard to find ones sometimes that aren't completely fishy or just a desert. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Compadres, it is imperative that we crush the freedom fighters before the start of the rainy season. And remember, a shiny new donkey for whomever brings me the head of Colonel Montoya.

I'd still bleach it, water alone can't kill all the snakie poo germs.

    I don't mean you.
Germs from snake feces/urea can quickly grow, and possibly make your snake sick. Not to mention possible salmonella contamination...you don't want to get food poisoning from your critters.
