First shed!

My new boy is in blue for the first time with us. He's been super easy- ate at the first feeding, perfect vet trip and clean fecal, and now he's going into shed right on schedule. :-D





A little hard to see in the pics, but eyes are definitely getting blue and his belly is nice and pink. His head is showing the most right now- he's grayed over on most of his head. Definitely excited!

Yayyy! The first shed is always so fun! Even though there are many many more to come they are all pretty exciting to me

And in other news, we successfully got him switched over to rat pups from nice today.

I'm amazed it's been this easy. Got him two weeks ago, he's eaten twice with little difficulty- he refused rats the first time but some mouse bedding in the rat box from the store and that fixed the problem. Now he's shed and pooped - both with no issues. This seems way too easy.
