It's finished!
Technically it needs another piece of trim but nevermind that! It's taken just about 3 years but Satins enclosure is finally finished. It was always meant to be a display piece, something that could be put in the living room/public area of wherever we lived, but due to life/laziness we just put it together enough for her to live in until about half a year ago. I just finished painting it today, and now we can sit back and admire our combined hard work. (bf built it, I designed/painted)

That looks really awesome! One question though: how come you used a heat lamp instead of a radient heat panel (RHP)? A RHP would fit nicely inside the enclosure so you dont have to have the heat lamp on top. Otherwise I think you did a great job!

Thanks! At the time of building it I didn't know about RHPs (plus we were building on a tight budget and already had a heat lamp), so that's pretty much the only reason I didn't put that in instead. I have been talking about switching to a RHP though.

Due to finals I haven't been over to get pictures of it, but here are some more pictures, as asked.
The front.
And the "wood" trim. It's actually PVC trim with wood patterning. Painting the trim took the longest, since unlike the tan areas where I could put painters tape over the trim and roller the paint on, I had to half-crouch and paint VERY slowly along the trim. I give credit to my art skills that I didn't get brown paint on anything else except in a few places.

Thinking of putting something like a tile-pattern (I saw someone use a stone-patterned one and it looked awesome, but it won't match with the wood look) linoleum on the inside, since it's so boringly white.

That's beautiful!
One day I want to build something like that, you don't mind if I take the pictures and use them as inspiration do you?
