I was examining her closely this morning and when you look carefully, the eyes are a very very dark blue almost black and pupil is a very very dark red.

I need to take some macro shots when I have time.

    First feeding is the hardest:

She was only fed live before I got her so she obviously rejected my first attempt with frozen/thawed a few days ago. Today I waited until dark, warmed up the adult mouse really good and she went for it. I tried a second one afterwards but she wasn't very interested. Anyway, I consider this a victory .

She ate two mice today in broad daylight. I love heat sensing snakes, they are so easy to convert.

What was the pairing that produced her? Were both the Sire and Dam carrying the fire gene?

    Sire Champagne , Dam Fire.

The only thing I can think of is sire being Champagne Fire but looking like a champagne, which is possible I guess...

In my opinion, that's either a result of sperm retention or the sire has fire in it. Regardless, That's a super fire .
