    Borrowing

I've had my baby BP for about a month and he finally started eating two weeks ago and since he ate he keeps burrowing under the substrate is this normal? What does it mean?

Those half logs are not good. He needs a hide that completely blocks out the light. He doesnt feel secure With that log

You *can* make that half-log work for the snake, by putting a piece of construction paper over the glass at the back where the log is - basically block the back from the outside.

While they are eating and digesting they are at their most vulnerable. It's also possible that the heatpad is under there and your temps aren't quite warm enough, but odds are high that he's being a snake - which means he wants to go somewhere very private and secluded to digest his meal.

    Re: Borrowing

Lol the latter is more fitting, there is no heat pad! I will block the side and see if that helps

I think is heating the BP with a spot lamp, look at the red light in the pic.
