    First litters!

I've been having one heck of a time breeding my rats. I've had them since December with no babies. I traded out my male about 4 weeks ago.

This litter was born Sunday evening. Coco is the sweetest rat I own. I managed to catch her labor only because I was concerned when her personality did a complete 180 (I've got bite marks to prove it) a few hours before delivery. She had 11 babies (one stillborn).

    Coco's babies today:

And Chanel blessed me with 8 babies sometime during the night!

Aww, very cute! Do you use these as feeders or do you sell them?

    Re: First litters!

I plan to use them as feeders. Once I move at the end of the year, I'm expanding my rat breeding and I'd consider selling for pets as well.

Nice, will be good if you can get a little business or something running when you move. I was considering breeding rats, but it probably isn't viable if you only have one ball python haha!
