Well, it was the best place to get pictures! ;-) I could move around, use zoom and not bug 'em, or have to go through glass or content with the glare of a tub.
There were a couple of layers of fleece blankets that got picked up and tossed in the washer as soon as I was done, though. (and in fact those are actually different blankets entirely - we bought a TON of those things for the dogs ages ago, and they keep kicking around and being useful)

I would not be a bit surprised if I got bitten putting them back. They're pretty easy going but they're snakes and moving them around for the sake of photos isn't usually my thing.
1-4 are all the same snake - sometimes the high gold comes through, sometimes it doesn't, but she's a REALLY orange normal snake and her eyes are a pretty cool green when my camera likes me, too.
