I see normal.
I used to think subtle morphs looked exactly the same, everyone was once like that. But the more you look at different morphs, especially in person, you'll more easily be able to tell the difference between subtle morphs.

I see differences in the one normal you have, but I think mine looks like your attolay pic the middle one april 17 2013. I have 2 normal and this one looks nothing like either one of them. I guess I am going to have to get to a show and try a side by side comparison because I honestly just cant see it. I do appreciate the pics and help. I am fairly new and just need to learn more.

Your snake is more golden with more uniform alien heads: see how my black pastel male is overall darker (more darker brown/chocolatey) and how differently shaped his alien heads are and his flaming coming up on the sides? IMO good black pastels will has those "squiggles" in the alien heads: those darker lines/coloration within the alien heads. I can almost guarantee your snake is a normal (I would bet my entire collection on it lol): there is not black pastel or regular pastel there, and he probably looks so different because normals are so variable it's amazing (some are gold, some brown, some with tons of flames, some with leopard like patterns, some super reduced, etc).

Re: Any guess is welcome....
Here is my black pastel that I hatched out:
See how she's more BLACK than brown? Black pastels don't tend to have much brown on their base pattern. A normal (like yours) is mostly brown. The actual pattern is different too. A black pastel tends to have key holes where your normal usually has what we call alien heads because they have two holes in each piece of pattern. Another cool difference is that black pastels tend to have some pieces of their pattern that are connected. Look at my girl's tail and on the side of her neck. See how they are connected? Your normal will usually have a clear break between each piece of pattern.
