If it is your first T you should look into getting a G. rosea (Rose Hair) they are very docile and they arent prone to flicking bristles. Here is one of my favorite sites on Ts http://tarantulas.differentdawn.com/ they have a bunch of caresheets there. Also remember that no T is a good hand pet. If you are gonig to handle your T make sure you do it over a soft surface like a bed. Ts are VERY fragile and even being droped from 2 or 3 feet could kill them. Ts are very good pets as they do not require much mainteance. Good luck in the world of Ts
    -My Tarantulas-
    1-P. murinus, 1-A. seemani, 2-P. regalis, 2-G. rosea, 1-B. albopilosum, 2-A. avicularia
    -My Snakes-
    2-Ball Pythons, 1-Plains garter, 1-Burmese Python, 1-Red tail boa
    -Other pets-
    1-Iguana, 1-Sulcata Tortoise, 2-Love Birds, 1-Umbrella Cockatoo, 1-Scottish Terrier, 1-Wire Fox Terrier
    1-Black Kitty
